Khushboo Balwani es diseñadora, estratega y activista y trabaja en cómo las metodologías y prácticas colaborativas pueden resolver problemas sociales en India y Europa.

En 2012, publica su tesis "El futuro del trabajo en un marco de vida sostenible" como parte de su Máster en Diseño estratégico en el Politecnico di Milano. La tesis habla de cómo estimular un diálogo estratégico entre políticos, educadores e investigadores para crear las condiciones que conduzcan a nuevas formas de trabajo en un entorno de vida sostenible.

Desde 2013 es conectora OuiShare para Bruselas y está involucrada en mapear comunidades, identificar e investigar experiencias, impulsar colaboraciones y reforzar el movimiento de la economía colaborativa. Ha sido ponente, organizadora de talleres sobre innovación en economía colaborativa y asesora de emprendedores, empresas y administraciones en Bruselas.

Actualmente, trabaja en la publicación del proyecto the Sharing Cities Book promovido por Shareable. Es coautora de dos capítulos dedicados a la alimentación y al trabajo.

(en) Khushboo Balwani is a designer, strategist and activist, working on how collaborative methodologies can solve social challenges, in India and in Europe.
In 2012, she wrote a thesis, entitled “Future of work in sustainable living”, as part of her MA studies in Design Strategy at Politecnico di Milano. Through this paper she intends to stimulate a strategic conversation among policy-makers, educators and researchers on the conditions that can lead to the creation of new ways of work in sustainable living.
Since 2013 she has been OuiShare Brussels connector and has been engaged locally in mapping the community, researching case studies, fostering collaborations and strengthening the collaborative economy movement. She has been a speaker, workshop facilitator related to innovation in the collaborative economy and an advisor for entrepreneurs, companies and other organisations in Brussels.
Currently, she is working in the Sharing Cities Book project organised by Shareable. She is coauthoring two chapters for the book on the topic Work and Food.

On a global level, within OuiShare she has been involved in the global communications and lead the fellowship for OuiShare Fest 2016 communications.

At OuiShare Fest 2015, she co-leaded the curation of the track "Collaborative economy and social impact - bridging the gap between solidarity and collaborative economies". Since then this track discussion has been continued through the participation of many social innovators on an online group.
